President Susan R. Wente, Ph.D. joins Bob and Michele McCreary, Alan Fox, Prentiss and Joan Baker, Carl and Linda Tucker, Coach Dave Clawson, quarterback Sam Hartman, and AD John Currie for the ceremonial groundbreaking in front of the work site. Dr. Wente offered a toast afterward.

Bob and Michele McCreary were recognized during the Deacs men's basketball game on Saturday afternoon after the groundbreaking, while Executive Senior Associate AD Barry Faircloth offered a toast during halftime in the Moricle Society room.
